Colin Gilchrist will teach you how to take charge of your NC code in this 5 Axis Post Processing course. Take an in-depth look at the Generic Fanuc 5X Mill Post then go through the process of configuring it for 2 distinct machine types: Table-Table, and Head-Head kinematics. The course will also cover constructing good 5X Toolpaths and how to work through common 5X Post issues.

This course begins August 8th and is held every Tuesday and Thursday, for 2 hours each day. Total instruction time is 16 hours. To keep class time flowing, Colin will host once a week Live Office Hours for your more project specific post questions. Scroll down for a more details.

We will also write a very simple 5X post from scratch, to demonstrate the tools available to you in the MP language for processing vectors using Vector and Matrix mathematics.
